Registration Fees

Mini Mite (6U): $175
Mite (8U): $275
Squirt (10U): $425
PeeWee (12U): $525
Bantam (14U): $625
10U, 12U, and 14U require a 2-year commitment based on birth year. For the 2025-2026 season, players born in 2015 and 2016 will be in Squirts.

Tryouts

Tryouts are required only if enough players sign up to form multiple teams at an age level.
Tryouts for 10U through 14U are typically held the second weekend of October (Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning/early afternoon).
Players will usually have about four practices before tryouts, where coaches will introduce and review the drills used in evaluations. It is highly recommended that players attend these practices to familiarize themselves with the drills.
All players will be assigned a colored jersey with a number before tryouts. These jerseys must be returned as they will be used for future evaluations.
Opting out of tryouts means forfeiting the opportunity to be placed on the higher-level team. Players who opt out will be assigned to the lower-level team.
If you have questions about team placement or tryouts, you must contact the Director of Hockey before tryouts begin.
Plan to keep the second weekend of October open for tryouts.

Jerseys

Mites: Jersey – $63, Socks – $25
Squirts, PeeWees, Bantams: Jersey – $184, Socks – $25
If you already have Mite-level socks and they still fit, you do not need to purchase another pair.
Order jerseys on the bigger side to avoid needing a new set next season.

Volunteer Hours

Mini Mite: 10 hours
Mite: 30 hours
Squirts, PeeWees, Bantams: 50 hours
If multiple skaters from the same family are registered, volunteer hours are based on the oldest skater.
Volunteer opportunities include: ice resurfacing, ice maintenance, cleaning during practice times, working concessions, running the game clock, keeping score sheets, coaching, serving as team manager, being a board member, locker room monitoring, helping organize tournaments, and assisting with public or school skate events.
Incomplete volunteer hours will be billed at $30 per hour.

Fundraising

Games & Tournaments

Mites:
Game schedules vary yearly based on participating associations.
Typically, Mites play at least one day per weekend starting in December through February, with the possibility of some games in November.
Teams participate in two tournaments: one home and one away.
Squirts, PeeWees, Bantams:
These teams play 25 to 35 games per season, running from early November through mid-March.
Games are held in Manitowoc and other cities, including Shawano, Marinette, Green Bay, Appleton, Fox Valley, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, and sometimes the Milwaukee area.
Teams participate in two tournaments, with a possible third if they qualify for State.
Tournament Costs:
Tournament fees are divided among all skaters who attend and billed through Crossbar.
Hotel costs ($250–$400 per weekend) are the responsibility of each family.
Players are not required to stay at the team-designated hotel, but team managers often arrange a room block to make booking easier and keep the team together.
We try to schedule tournaments within a two-hour drive, but some may be farther.
Past tournaments have been held in Sun Prairie, Dodgeville, Wisconsin Dells, Shawano, Marinette, Sheboygan, and the Milwaukee area.
Tournaments require player commitment. If availability is an issue, notify the Director of Hockey before tryouts to ensure proper team sizes.

Practice Schedule
